Britain is known for producing both luxury and high performance vehicles. There are more than 35 active British car manufacturers, but many are small car makers that only produce a few cars. Listed below are the top major British car brands.
AC is a specialist car manufacturer, and one of the oldest independent British car makers. Founded by the Weller Brothers in West Norwood, London, AC is now headquartered in Thames Ditton, Surrey. The car manufacturer is known for producing only a limited number of models throughout its history.
